yep!  no exaggerating folks.    hats off to pat for his lifetime devotion and connection to KJR.  yep, folks hes the man behind the plan, who turned the key and started it up 50 years ago!!   the boys and pat made several  comments, and references on the value of having the freedom of elbow room in radio.  yep, radio host freedom was successful 50 years ago when pat was trusted to program and launch KJR.  and yep, radio host freedom is successful in 2012, with the current grade "A"  KJR morning show.   we are all looking forward to pat odays broadcast of the hydros this year.   i say put pat oday on KJR live saturday night with him spinning the tunes(not the computer).   unless you think he sounds too young to work on an oldies format.  ha ha

I love that idea. Pat O'Day on KJR FM Saturday nights would be great!  Especially now that KMCQ has flushed their loyal listeners down the toilet by dumping Ted Alexander and Casey Kasem. It would be a fun show with Pat!  I am thrilled that he is doing so well. God bless him!

Summertime will always remind me of hearing Pat while we were at Golden Gardens.  Christmas time?  Charlie Claus.
