SW Ohio

Days
WONE Dayton - Strong regional

Skip Time
WHAW Weston WV - Like ddsparxx, I heard this station only once, and for me, it was back in 2009. The station is 25 KW NDA days, so I'm surprised it's not being mentioned.

Night
Nothing besides WONE - Because I seldom stop on this frequency.

I second that. Feel free to start a thread listing your receptions, or even better, an evening bandscan.

980 here: WAZS Summerville with a Spanish format. Weaker than other stations in area because farther away (probably 25 miles from the transmitter).

Gets stepped on late afternoons and evenings by WTEM, and signal is usually a mess at night.

In Memphis

Daytime: splatter from local KWAM
Nightime: I assume it's WFYN but I've never really stopped to wait for an ID

Day: static
Night: CKNW, usually.

Just be sure to enclose your scan in the {pre} {/pre} tags when you paste it here so the columns line up correctly (substituting [] brackets for the {} curly braces.)

Greater Cincinnati.

Day - WONE in Dayton comes in quite well and has for decades.

Night - Nothing definite.  At sunset, WONE drops off dramatically.  I have heard that in addition to lowering their power at that time, they also go directional north (away from Cincinnati).

WONE doesn't lower power at night, but they do use a directional pattern aimed more NW & SE.

My guess is that WONE is obliged to protect CFPL in London, ON as well as what used to be WRC in Washington DC.  To the west/southwest, KMBZ in Kansas City could be also in the equation along with one or two others.

Whatever, as indicated in my earlier post, WONE has a great nighttime signal to the northwest.  A strong regular here in northern Illinois.
