« on: May 16, 2012, 06:19:15 PM »

Does any Tallahassee's Radio Stations in the rock group (X-101.5) (Gulf 104) (106.1 The Path) thats plays adult album alternative music? Do u think Tallahassee can do a adult album alternative format?

X-101.5 is modern rock
Gulf 104 is Classtic Hits
The Path 106.1 ( I dont know what the heck they playing) since they dropped Oldies to weried music.

I been listren to 92.9 Dave FM out of Atlanta when I went to NC on vaction. When im in ATL area I tune to 92.9 Dave FM with is adult album alternative music. I said to myself wow Tallahassee need a format for this would be good.

The Path 106.1 is pretty close to AAA.  V89 would be close too... during some shows.  Check out WZEW 92.1 from Mobile, Alabama or WRTL Lightning 100.1 from Nashville, Tennessee if you want to know what true southern AAA sounds like.  I believe the Carolinas have a few AAA stations and of course KPIG from San Francisco pretty much sets the standard for AAA music... or does the Pig play Americana?

Florida doesn't really have any AAA stations.  106.1 in Tallahassee may be the closest station in the state to a full time AAA.  I don't know why Florida doesn't have enough music snobs in any single market to support AAA or Americana.
