Let me be the first on this blog to wish 1490 Radio WEMJ in Laconia a happy 50th anniversary and many more.

I wonder if by chance, anyone in Laconia happened to record any of the special programming that WEMJ aired during its 50th anniversary? If so, I would be very interested in it. I also wonder if WEMJ aired any of their old jingles during their anniversary for nostalgia. At any rate, I realize that this is a little late, but I too would like to wish WEMJ a very happy 50th anniversary in Laconia and the lakes region.

It was a great place to work especially in the spring and summer months.
