I wasn't high up at all, just heard things and (here's a novel idea most radio people can't do nowdays) I KEPT MY MOUTH SHUT! Never saw any logos that I recall, maybe I did, but I did hear a rumor that the GM was driving around Syracuse with the music library and imaging in the trunk of his car!
I guess CC thought it would be easier to compete against 1 country station not to have to go against 2. Some of the jocks from KIX I believe ended up at WHEN..after the sale..only to be out of job again when CC bought WHEN. I think Lois Burns was one of 'em, but I could be wrong..she was a great person, had to be to put up with Fatty!! haha kidding! It was a crazy time.
