I guess that no stations in the area can think of anything that would be likely to make them more money than what they are making now.

WMBR's schedule changes, sometimes only slightly, three times per year. Not many changes this time. A few student hosts are leaving for the summer, a few new ones are getting new shows, and a few shows have moved to different slots on the schedule, but most of the schedule will stay the same. None of the long-running shows are going away.

Just curious.  What would you suggest?  Any ideas?  Do you mean just for the weekend, the summer, or permanently?

Oh wow, it's so boring that nobody lost their job this weekend!  It's sad, really, that we have heritage stations with long track records of success in Massachusetts.  Who wants some of the most legendary radio stations in the country when you could have nothing but early 90's R&B Love Songs on a full B off the Pru?

If anything this board has a lot of action, discussion etc. about the occasional big changes
in format, programming, etc.; looks back at the old days...Boston has a lot of great stations
incl. college/public and aircheck traders I've dealt with (back especially before the streaming
days) have been eager to trade stuff with me. It's an interesting market...travel to some
other places and you'll hear "boring".

6+ numbers have nothing to do with demographic break-downs or with revenue.  WAAF makes money, and it's the last commercial rocker playing newer rock left.
