I called in to the All News 106.7 news line last night at 3:30 AM to let them know something. The person who answered, Pamela Furr, asked my name and I then mentioned Radio-Info.com. She was editor for the overnight last night. Toward the end of the conversation she jokingly asked, "So, when are you going to review my on air show?" So, next time I hear her on the air, I will make detailed notes.
The overall product continues to get more polished. I was out in the middle of the night last night due to a family emergency and got to listen for an hour while driving. The station has the same professional feel in the middle of a weekend night that it does during the day.
This weekend was a bit rough for the traffic guys. With all construction work around the metro canceled for the weekend, they did not have much to talk about. I could hear the traffic folks keep trying to stretch "all clear and running at the speed limit" to a full 60 seconds. Buy, hey, that is broadcasting.
