Just wondering... if something really BIG breaks out tomorrow, will WYAY interrupt their news documentary to cover it?

This is a statement of radio today... I have not listened to FM at home in more than 10 years. I pulled out the radio that we use for travel to have it tuned to 106.7 for the morning. I cannot pick up 106.7 inside. I live on Cheshire Bridge less than 1/2 mile from the Richland tower. Kicks 101.5 splatters all over the FM band here. I can barely hear 106.7 in the background. I have no problems in the car, but have noticed that in this area the 106.7 analog signal is weak with no HD. Oh well, I hope the stream will continue to work during the switch.

I have just been handed information from a source close to the operations of "All News 106.7"...... At 5am on Tuesday morning WYAY will stunt with a 12-hour documentary on the "history of news in Atlanta and how the new format will run. Then at 5pm, ABC News will air and Cheryl Castro and Greg Black will start airing live, local, and hard hitting journalism about the Atlanta Metro Area."
So, I guess we don't have to get up at 5am after all. Yay! Although, I might just catch a good 8 hours of the "All News" documentary.
Might want to check your source.

Everybody says they hate Cumulus. Well, they did just launch an almost perfect All-News station in the ATL. Now that takes some skill. #GoMcVayAndDickey

CBS is foolish to not start oldies with Steve Craig, Alpha Stevens, Steve McCoy, and Randy & Spiff available. Now, that would be a great station.
I agree but CBS feels it can sell the "Adult Alternative" and the supposed few high income folks who listen to the agencies. The 1.3 6+ must be in some money demo. Statistically it would be hard to win a demo, but CBS feels it is doing OK. If I was running CBS in Atlanta, I would first "protect" V103 even if means taking on WALR head to head, or "import" a WCBS FM / KLUV (Dallas) format.
