Bourdain exiting Travel Channel for CNN

A little surprising, but Anthony Bourdain is exiting Travel Channel for CNN. Apparently, CNN wants to focus more on lifestyle programs during the weekend and Bourdain is going to start up a show similar to No Reservations that will air Sunday nights and repeat on Saturday.

This got to be a bad move for Bourdain.

He got mad at the management of the Food Network when he was there and jumped to the Travel Channel. When Food's parent bought a majority interest in Travel channel I knew he would be leaving as soon as his contract was out. I just wasn't figuring on CNN as his landing zone...
