Long Time WCCO Radio Personality Dark Star dead at age 66.
« on: June 01, 2012, 05:39:54 PM »

He took a buyout from CBS in 2010 after 25 years with the station.  He started as a horse racing handicapper, which led to fill-in work, which led to almost 20 years hosting overnight or late-evening talk shows on WCCO.  He had been contributing to CC's KFXN (The Fan).  He was scheduled to call in to The Fan today during the "Common Man" Dan Cole show but never did.  http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2012/06/01/former-wcco-radio-personality-dark-star-found-dead/
