Oh, and btw, interesting reading can be found at the bottom of his construction permit.  Seems Mr. Mike must move an FM down south, and create a new AM in Luverne BEFORE he can even program test.  Done in July - not likely. 

The WAOQ CP has been around for a lot longer than the WDXX one, so I would hope that if this were some coordinated move, WAOQ was already hot-footing it to their new tower near Troy.  I don't understand the contingency on WAOQ, though… their new license doesn't seem to put any more signal to the north or northwest than the current license does.  It shouldn't make any difference.

I didn't see anything referencing any AM moves, but I know that WEZZ Monroeville is supposed to move to be filling in for the loss of local service in Luverne.

Just 100.3 FM over to fine suburbs of Troy Alabama.

And AM 930 from Monroeville to the wonderful outskirts of Luverne.

Oh, I forgot about 104.3.  That means no replacement service has to move in to Luverne if one moves out, right?

Perhaps its not Luverne but its neighbor to the south, Brantley, where 100.3 is the city of license.  I think Brantley is where the AM would have to relocate once WAOQ moves to Goshen, I believe.

Also, since 920 AM is no longer operable in Andalusia, would it be more beneficial for the new station to set up shop there?  Would a directional antenna be necessary to null Atlanta's direction for example?

You could possibly come up with a directional pattern that would work.  1070 WAPI and WFLI come to mine.  I do not know if financially would it work?  You have land, towers, construction, and engineering cost.  You would want at least 5KW to allow a good 250 FM translator if one could be squeezed into the area.

I'm making a new prediction on WDXX.

Here it is.

Once they move their studio to the Gump, they'll do just what The River did after they signed on. 

A.K.A. Snag them a Translator, from the graveyard and use it to help keep them on the air in Montgomery.

Their main signal will still be very weak, once they move to their new home.

Depending on those Lowndes County cows alone will not help them period.

Not enough meat and milk to sell off right now, due to the drought.

P.S. Concerning WHBB, I still look for Mr. Reynolds to sell this station once he moves WDXX to Montgomery.

R.D.P.,  WDXX cannot use a translator to "extend" coverage except under stringent requirements (such as the translator owner can't be paid and Reynolds can't own it and use it that way).  Also, the main studio cannot be in Montgomery since it isn't in the city grade contour.  That's a violation of the main studio rules.  The "main studio" will have to stay in Selma, staffed with a minimum of 2 people.  That's not to say they can't have an "aux" studio in Montgomery.  Also, they don't have a STL shot back to the transmitter (33 miles away).  They are going to use the "Internet" to feed to Selma and then to the transmitter.  The whole thing is hairbrained.  For what?  To bill 20-30k a month if they are lucky?  They were doing that much in Selma alone.  1.4 million for the project.  That's 10-15k in debt service alone.  Add in staff, rent, insurance, phones, utilities, etc and 30k isn't even close to break even.  Mr Reynolds should have looked at the most recent Miller Kaplan report for revenue in Montgomery before sailing out on the Titanic.
