7/15 week 12:05am  : Dean Johnson (M,T,W) Bradley Jay  (Th,F) apparently. Still seems open to me?

MWJ is probably vacationing (LV?). I didn't listen to the last week of Steve but the more I consider the situation the more peculiar it seems.

As per Morgan's website  -

People, relax.  I had a medical bump in the road and the advice I received and followed, told me to clear my calendar for a bit.  I will be back at BZ--Free Friday Flicks & the overnight schedule, shortly.

Personally, I wish they would get someone who can bring it back to Larry Glick type shows, or the way Steve did it in the early days of the show. In the early 2000's, Steve was probably 85% light topics/15% heavy/politics.

I miss that type of format. There is already heavy/political shows all over the dial, but really not much in the way of a light variety "fun" show.

I suppose Morgan would be the best choice for this type of show.

I withdraw my suggestion for Hendrie as I did mention him previously. I checked out some of his recent material & I see he is doing a lot of heavy/political stuff & is very opinionated, & I'm not looking for that in a talk show...If he could stick to satire I would definitely be on board with him - bring back Lloyd Bonafide!  Grin

If Phil Hendrie would be syndicated on WBZ, it would do what I thought was impossible,
Make WBZ's talk programming even more stupid

Pat Demaris would be a good choice I suppose - does he do any light topics, or is he all politics? I like a varied diet...well, actually I would prefer all light stuff.

I still say Phil Hendrie would be a good move.

Ideally, first of all, let's keep Bradley Jay away from the front of any microphone! He is the antithesis of a broadcaster - truly horrible.

Is Beatrice dead?  The mortality rate for talk hosts isn't very good.  RIP all you guys!
