OK wonder if they stay on WPTK/WSJS also.
If not Curtis might be done.

I liked Vince Coakley as a news anchor on Channel 9, so perhaps he could return to one of the TV news stations. But looks like WBT is looking at changing some of their talk show hosts, although they apparently changed their mind on Keith Larson. But I still wish they would carry Neal Boortz show live. I don't always agree with his point of view, but he has an issue oriented and engaging program, and argues his viewpoint very well. He is economically conservative but socially libeterian. For example, he doesn't care for Obama or the Democrats, but he doesn't really care what the homosexuals do. Which was a hot topic in NC recently.

Very happy to hear that Brad Krantz is returning to WBT. He was one of my favorite former hosts there. Hopefully with his cohost Britt, the show will have a bit of a left vs right dynamic to it, as the old Spires and Krantz show did. Too many radio talk shows have a one sided, right wing point of view. Which is why I also enjoy Neal Boortz's conservative but libertarian approach.

I think many of us knew he wouldn’t last but his “on air” performance has improved immensely over the past year.  I think someone has been working with the guy.

Vince would do well to take his conservative talents to a Christian radio station.

I wish him the best, because he sounds like a truly “nice guy” with very strong Christian beliefs.

Neal Boortz live would be great, except he is leaving after the campaign season and Herman Cain does a very different type of show (typical partisan). Had Royal Marshall survived, this would have been his show. As for Mr. Coakley, he did improve over time, not unlike Ms. Servatius, but neither of them should have been in that slot in Market #24. They could finally get some stability to the time slot. PS, Isn't Richard Spires still around locally, but not in radio?

Last I heard, Spires, was managing a small market station in Florida.  Here's a video of Mr. Excitement for your viewing pleasure:

Still very scary to look at on TV just as he was on the FOX 18 morning show years ago.
