guess I'm a little surprised at the coverage around Detroit.  From just north of Findlay and from that point northward, CKLW always pretty much rode over 820.

Two frequencies over? I remember hearing WOSU up to around Perrysburg before local interference made that tougher. Same with 610, which I remember being about crystal clear day and night until right at the 75/475/23 intersection.

Back in the 90s I visited family who lived in Toledo at the time.. I remember picking up both WTVN and WRFD up that way.

Did anyone notice that WVSG has applied to increase day power to 6.5 KW ND from their night site?  It looks like the new tower on the OSU Golf Course won't be there for long.

Noticed the FCC has approved this application at the end of last April. Not sure when this will be
on the air. St. Gabriel Catholic radio has been leasing the land at OSU Golf Course for the past nine months so this will save them money in the long run. On the flip side of this, WOSU and tOSU will lose the income from the tower lease.

As some say, these coverage maps are for entertainment purposes only.

Present Daytime coverage:

New Daytime coverage:

Almost as good as WTVN with a similar coverage...

WVSG is now broadcasting during the Daytime hours from it's Nighttime tower site according to station management.

Here is a photo of the old WVSG ex WOSU-AM Daytime Tower site:

Makes sense. I noticed the other day when I was in UA that 820's signal wasn't bleeding a few frequencies either way like it used to. How long has this been going on?

For the last week or so, WVSG has been broadcasting both it's Daytime and Nighttime signal from its Grove City tower site.
