While riding around today I could not get WYAY in HD and the analog signal sounded a little fuzzier than usual. I am wondering if they are operating from one of their multiple backup transmitter site. Anybody know?

It went off over the weekend. Last weekend, I'd like to say Friday, there was dead air on HD2, HD1 was alive with their main feed. Now they are in mono with no HD.

Hopefully it is temporary. The sound is fuzzy. It sounds like an FM station that is tuned slightly off.

HD transmitter is still off today. I will go post on their FB page and see if they respond.

After the "start up fees" for HD are there any on going fees? If there are, I can understand why a non music station would drop HD.

The HD transmitter is still off today. I still think something is off with the analog signal. The highs have too much something. It makes the station sometimes feel slightly off frequency. This is new behavior. I wonder what is going one?

The transmitter/processing issues are getting annoying. The sound quality is very annoying.

In mono is their range any better? And is it possible that the processor is still sending an out of phase stereo audio? Because that's sure what it sounds like.

Mono will help with range, but I am not sure what it does when the HD is turned off. Maybe one of the engineering guys can answer that one.
It Saturday and HD is still off.

I'd run it in mono without HD for best coverage. I'd fix the audio too, it's grating.
