The guys at Clearchannel are saying that Lindsey from K-Hits is going to Cox.  Would only assume that she is replacing Nina on Mix?  The morning show on the Beat was talking about it on their show.  I had to laugh.  They mentioned that Billy left and now Lindsey.  I hear one more is going to Cox as well.  Is it Austin??  Not sure where he would go.  May not be Tulsa.  Will Nina show up on K-Hits?  Still don't know why she quit Mix.

Nina left to be a stay-at-home mom. She's wanting to do voice work from her home studio. She won't be going to K-Hits.

I don't know anything about Lindsey leaving K-Hits, but that wouldn't be a bad thing. The new morning show is horrendous. She was at Cox for a bit after the Wylde Wake Up Show ended, so she may very well be going over there (I think Tod Tucker is still there), but I would hate to see her on Mix. That would not be a good marriage.

Nina didn't leave to be a stay at home mom.  If she wants  folks on this board to know the story she'll have to post it herself but leaving Mix wasn't her idea.

Her FB page says Cox decided not to renew her contract.

I have no idea, & I'm just shooting my mouth off here. But my guess is that it was strictly business. They figured they could get a talented replacement for her for half what they were paying her. It's a common story. I have no idea if that's the case here. But it's my guess.

Nina is a great talent and I'm sure her replacement is as well.

Spy Report: I'm hearing rumors today that Lindsey is standing in my office asking where to get coffee. I'll try to get a confirmation!

Well, I think we all assumed that was the case, but it's probably in poor form to come out and say so (unless you are Nina).

LOL! Well, I hope for the sake of all parties involved that it works out well.

I agree.  I knew Nina when she was going to JBU and had her first real radio job at KEZA "Magic 107.9."  I was surprised to hear her doing "Fun Country Nights" on K-95 FM when visiting family in Tulsa a few years later.

Why would they?  Now that KBEZ Bob-FM stuff... that's real likely.  There's not much at 92.9 to salvage other than a stick.

K-Hits is NOT flipping formats.  That would be dumb.  They need a morning show that doesn't suck.  They keep losing their shows.  Corbin is kicking their butt.

And, to be honest, it wouldn't be hard to beat Corbin. He couldn't even program an alarm clock.
