I wonder whether this has to do with Cumulus' deal with Radiate Media.  Radiate provides the traffic reporters to the stations.

Now that I think about it, Chris Carter is apparently a Kicks employee.  At least he does a show on weekends.  And he's the traffic reporter during the week.  So maybe some Cumulus stations will still have their own traffic reporter.

Don't give Cumulus any ideas - we could have All News 106.7 reporters moonlighting as Journey jocks!
