Of course you automatically assume I want a liberal show.

You've made that abundantly clear, while denying it to your last breath.

Like I said, you just don't get the joke with Phil Hendrie. It's not a show for everyone.

No, I in fact do NOT want a liberal show. You just have a habit of trying to rewrite what I say so you can generalize about my position on this. THAT is exactly the problem with talkradio today: people like you who are incapable of seeing anything but a left vs. right, liberal vs. conservative world. It's incredibly short-sighted, not to mention predictable and boring.

I get the joke. I thought it was interesting the first couple times I heard it, but it got old really fast. I guess we all have different standards as to what is entertaining. See: WWE

Phil's tied to a contract at TRN and that's why he is still on. The contract is up in a little over a year. I highly doubt it will be renewed. The show has not only declined in quality over the years (especially since he came back in 2007), but he has now waged war (yes, again) against his fans and also, TRN.  Roll Eyes

That reminds me:  Is his show still officially under the "TRN-FM" banner?  I think Mancow's still is.

You've bashed WWE more than once. The fact is they're doing better than the "impartial" radio you want to hear.

Does the show just constantly cycle through lots of people who have never heard him before and don't get the "joke"?
I have to admit I enjoyed it the most before I knew the man who said, "I'm Ted Bell" and the black woman were both him. But they were very entertaining.

Some interesting listening. Captured by one of his fans. The clip begins when Phil is ranting about Mark Masters during a commercial break and his engineer gives him the 1 minute warning and Phil keeps on ranting and then starts ranting over the air as well.:

This is right up there with Casey Kasem ("Dead Dog"), Buddy Rich and Bobby Knight ("Sick of Losing to Purdue")

Hendrie was great when he was on KFI years ago, and had great writers.  But, he alienated his fans so many times with his attitude and the talent has really gone downhill.

The guy is a jerk and he keeps hurting his own career.
