106.7 has just about been ground into the sand on this board. We've covered every nook and cranny. Let's now start our threads and speculation on the next flip..........probably about 9 months away. GO.......

First question: Dave or Rock100.5? Or a 100:1 shot on River flipping to Chuck? If that happens Rock100.5 is safe.

I am thinking it will be Dave. A lot of us speculated that CBS was thinking about putting an all news format there before Cumulus beat them to it. The article about the conversation Dickey had with another major media company comes to mind. With that, it would seem to me CBS is considering some sort of change to Dave.

I hope to God, because right now it is a waste of a torch signal.

the broadcasting gods at 92.9 atlanta know more than us mere mortals.
while their ratings show a waste of a 100k stick, they will not flip dave from aaa.
let me repeat that so it will sink in. THEY WILL NOT FLIP DAVE FROM AAA.
either the billing is amazing, surpassing even what they would expect if they led the market in a mainstream genre, with double digit shares surpassing even sister V103,
or
they have compromising photographs.
my vote is on the photos.

I have just been listening to some of the oldies stations around the country, why in the F can't Atlanta have a station like Majic 105.7 Cleveland, 103.3 St Louis, 3WS Pittsburgh, KOOL 108 MPLS? It is embarrassing what our radio dial sounds like. We all know DAVE is a F"ing disaster along with the River, B98.5, Rock 100.5? Come on ATL deserves better than this shTT

I just put this post up in JEST....didn't think it would be an actual thread.
Yes, Brent that is a great oldies station. It sounds much larger than La Grange. No, it doesn't carry all the way to Columbus. I think Columbus has 2 oldies, a True Oldies and a regular one.
I am missing my oldies though. Just surprised that nobody has taken the banner off the floor or even attempted. They've got us wandering out here, why not add some more and try to pick up some of that audience?
Could this be the curse of WPOW? Format is gone, never to return.
