Well, it is going okay. I recently found out the news that CBS Sports Radio will be airing in Knoxville via WNRX-FM and WNML-AM/FM. Hmm? It is making me wonder where NBC Sports Radio will air in Knoxville once it debuts soon.

Watching Q and Frog play Dueling Facebook.  Frog put up a link to vote for bringing Carrie Underwood to town.  Q put one up an hour later and put Carrie on the big horizontal banner that goes with the new Facebook format.

Doubt we'll see anyone pick up NBC Sports. We already have two sports stations in town, three if you count ESPN106.3 in Sevierville. This market can't support any more.

I still think Q sounded better under Paul Orr's programming than Mike Hammond's. The music is ok, but the new imaging guy is awful & sounds really cheesy. I also miss the jingle package and hate all the cold segues now. Also, what's up with the moniker "where the music matters"? This is a country format, not AAA (the only other place I've heard that liner used). Anyway, the music selection is the only decent thing about Q now. All of the imaging and positioning statements have gone downhill. Journal should've kept their money & let corporate & Rich Bailey keep programming Q as a young leaning, music intensive, jukebox type country format.
