WCWR was a great station.  You can hear a clip of Frank Scott on WCWR at Radio Years.com:

It didn't get blown away but the tower base is under water. I saw a photo on another radio web site that said it was operational but only radiating about 100w.

Isn't Genesis in the process of moving their transmitter site for 1470? I heard that they're looking for a new place to put their tower because they have to vacate the Egypt Lake site.

Still over on CR95 far as I know but yes, they do have to vacate that site.  Egypt Lake is where they have their CP for, get this, a 750 watt daytime power site (down from 5000 watts!) and 800 watts nighttime (UP from 500 watts)  but thats been in the wind for some time.  I have heard they are looking at other sites to diplex onto.

Knoxbob, send the link to that picture if you can.

Ooops... my bad... then who is on those towers out at Egypt Lake?

I think diplexing sounds like a better idea than 750 watt days... I bet a lot of stations are wary about getting involved with Genesis. They do have a penchant for ripping other people's clients.

...and Bruce probably isn't looking forward to signing a non-compete...

Do you think anyone trusts Bruce? Hasn't he burned all of his bridges?
