Colorado Springs Cumulus stations on edge of fire evacuation area
« on: June 27, 2012, 06:00:06 PM »

Colorado Springs Cumulus stations which includes Country KATC FM 95.1, Classic Rock 98.1 KKFM, Sports 1300AM KCSF, and Top 40 KKMG 98.9, are on the edge of the Waldo Canyon Fire evacuation area near Woodman and I-25. They have received special permission from the fire chief to remain at the studios for the time being. and if they have to evacuate the studios They plan on heading to the Bahakel studios on E. Cheyenne Rd, and use their production room. Bahakek currently owns KILO 94.3 and KRXP 103.9.

Someone should tell I am guessing the Voice Tracked night show on 98.9 there is a fire burning in the hills not to far away... Listened on line for 30 minutes not a mention of anything going on so far... I did learn that Paris Hilton got roughed up by paparazzi though...   #radio-fail
