Favorite Dance Hits Station
« on: June 28, 2012, 06:54:14 AM »

I like Area 95.5/Washington DC WPGC-HD2 the best.  Why?  They don't play any stiffs.  A nice mix; their "throwback" tracks are great as well.

What's your fave dance hits station, either internet-only or terrestrial/HD2?

I'm curious as to what you mean by "stiffs"?

Also, not sure if it classifies as "dance hits" but if I had a to pick a favorite, besides the bias of choosing my own of course  Tongue, would be Club Phusion hands down. Great stuff.

Other than that station located in the Jersey Shore.... Grin...wow, I have so many set to my TuneIn Radio app, but most favorite for me would be Pulse 87 and iDanceRadio.fm.

Pulse 87 &  iParty Radio.   I also prefer the "dance hits/remixed pop hits" approach.  (basically pop dance with a CHR presentation).

I prefer ones that have more of an edge...but then again, I guess that wouldn't be considered "Dance Hits"

Other than my own... I like The Vibe of Vegas (myvibelv.com, which is former Vibe 94.5/Highway Vibe 99.7-98.9-98.1) and Hot 107.1 in Denver.

Jelli 96.7 is still there, but Jelli's rock channel 94.5 is gone now. It's gone Spanish as Exa 94.5 FM.

I like Jelli, but I get sick of it after not too long because they play (or rather their listeners vote on) a bit too much Dubstep. I dislike 90% of Dubstep. I also get sick of the annoying overload of imaging + the automated voice of T-Bone.

Terrestrial:  WNRG-LPFM Energy 107.9/Energy Dance Mix

Internet-only:  AscenDance Radio

Also, not sure if it classifies as "dance hits" but if I had a to pick a favorite, besides the bias of choosing my own of course  Tongue, would be Club Phusion hands down. Great stuff.

UGH! Cheap Channel...  Sad
