No irony there.

It is interesting to see how differently CNN covers something when reporting on how it went down to how C-Span carries the proceedings live, from the arguments before the Court to what the specific ruling was.

C-Span sets up their cameras (or radio studio gear) and gets out of the way so that we can see (or in this case, hear) for ourselves what is happening, exactly as and when it is happening.

News reports: The unemployment rate went up because unemployed people who persisted in looking for work despite being told that they gave up, before and after benefits ran out, continued looking for work.

C-SPAN usually sets the mics and cameras up and lets them roll without any commentary. CNN/Fox/MSNBC has constant talking heads and blabber.

Exactly.  That is why I said they set it up and get outa the way.  I listened to the arguments and everything all the way through, precisely as it went down.  No spin from talking heads, no spin from President, no spin from Members of either House of Congress, no phone, no pool, no pets, ain't got no cigarettes.

No lights, no phone, no motor car, not a single luxury!  Like Robinson Carusoe, it's as primitive as can be!

I love my health care in Canada. It's not as free as you think, (ie not covering the cost of crutches) but it's still
a pretty good system, and I'm extremely glad to have it!
