It reminds me of KDL but they are gonna have to switch the ads to English.

I totally agree

I love it.  Kiss it CBS!!! You miss the time to change 105.3 or 107.5 to AMP or TOP 40 CHR format.  KESS 107.9 H2O is a GREAT!!!  I love more the old KDL and CASA music with some dance mix.  Looks like I 93.3 will change to THE TICKET in a few months.  KISS FM will drop some rating points. I see KESS 107.9 going to a 3.5 to 4 rating share in next book.  ONLY one PROBLEM!!! ...H2O...Please need to stop the Spanish ads...go to English commericals fast.

CBS could now only put back The Oasis back to 107.5...that be heaven.

I agree. H2O is Top 40 with some energy. Something CBS could have done with AMP if they wouldn't have been so scared of Clear Channel. Thank you Univision for not being punks!

I welcome the change as well! This is definitely a crossbreed between Kiss FM with a splash of "Casa 106.7" and "La Kalle 107.9" (La Kalle also did IDs at the end of each song). I do agree that they need to switch to English ads or at least do a mix bag between English and Spanish.

In my honest opinion, Liberman Broadcasting should NEVER have dumped "Casa 106.7" for La Bonita or Baneta...or whatever the heck you call it.

Likely the ads were sold some time ago and it'll be a while before they cycle out.

AND/OR...perhaps since it's Univision-owned and they still want to court Spanish-language listeners to some degree, they won't cut ties completely with those advertisers and they'll just gradually phase in more English-language advertisers.

I've listened the last few nights. Definitely CHR-dance format, not a harder EDM format like KDL was. The back-announces are pretty refreshing.

107.9 is definitely not a Kiss copycat. They are doing top 40 in a different way.

Interesting approach, your average dance-pop CHR but with spanish liners.

Are they planning to keep the spots in Spanish?  Loving the music but not understading the ads at all.
