Paul Giammarco leaving WPRO
« on: June 29, 2012, 02:26:13 PM »

http://www.golocalprov.com/business/exclusive-wpro-honcho-headed-for-the-door/

Two questions:

1.  Did he jump or was he pushed?

2.  Who's your pick for who will replace him as PD?

1)  Does he have another job?
2)  There aren't many "stand alone" PD jobs anymore.

You'll know he was fired if he says, "there are personal family reasons".  If he does ANY interviews and says, "I want to spend more time with my children," then he was pushed.

If Facebook is any indication, it was his decision to leave.

Sounds to me there is writing on the wall for him to make decisions he does not want to make and he is bailing before the ax falls to chop staff.

Kenwood is spot on..either somebody told Paul what was coming, or he saw handwriting on the wall...either way, 'PRO has some large shoes to fill..best of luck to Mr Giammarco in whatever direction he takes..
