When will WiLD be moved to the Top40 Panel
« on: June 30, 2012, 11:20:19 AM »

This station by no means is a Rhythmic anymore.  How long till they make it official?

WILD does sound more like a Clear Channel CHR. When are they going to change from the rhythmic WILD name to a CC top 40 name? Most CC CHRs these days are being called Radio Now.

Yes Kiss 104.1. I wish they will get rid of that logo and use the one like KYLD

WiLD will NEVER get rid of their current logo. At least not unless there are major changes in the CC buidling. The GM designed their current logo. Last I heard, no one in the building truly is a fan of that logo either.

As far as a panel change. Mediabase has a consultant that makes quarterly recommendations for panel changes. If a change is coming it will most likely happen in July.

They are pretty much a rhythmic friendly CHR now.  I think the signal holds WILD back somewhat....seeing that WILD actually outperforms and out-cumes Project 96.1, I wonder if the two should swap frequencies?

I like the Wild 105.7 logo better than KYLD's.  I think it expresses what the station does.

WILD's sweepers still sound very rhythmic and urban. Will this change? Isn't there a missing spot in this market for rhythmic? Why are they trying to go more mainstream CHR?

Seen Q100's ratings recently? Atlanta desperately needs CHR competitor. Musically, Wild is teetering on the mainstream CHR border and has been for the better part of a year.

I've been saying for some time that an Amp Radio-style presentation would work wonders in this city. I'd love if Wild made some formatic tweaks to sound poppier - music-wise, they're about 85% there.
