Why would Fox make a deal with Mako for weak little KUVM-CD when they already own two full power stations (KRIV and KTXH)? That just makes no sense to me.
They've done that elsewhere as well. Does anyone know where MundoFox is not on the .1 channel? That's the only reason I could come up with: they wanted MundoFox on the primary subchannel, even if it's on an LPTV station, but didn't want to bump their MyNetworkTV station from the primary position. Just a guess.

Maybe I'm not seeing something, but KUVM-CD seems like a horrible choice to launch a major network in such a large city. I'm near Meyerland and that signal is very difficult for me to pick up. It's not impossible here, but I'm probably closer to the transmitter than most people in the city, and I'm willing to bet that it is impossible in most areas. They will have to rely on cable carriage.
I suspect they'll be able to get cable carriage even for a Class A station. After all, they're Fox. But more interestingly, KUVM-CA has a construction permit for a new antenna that will significantly increase their coverage:
Current coverage
New coverage
KFWD/52 in DFW is also supposed to be increasing their coverage, so it looks like MundoFox is putting in the resources they need to get the most out of their affiliates.
retrosmart:
Why KTXH 20:3 is carrying MundoFOX in SD, when channel 45 was suppose to be in SD on channel 20, why is KXLN is on 67:2 when it's suppose to be 61:1 in SD on 67:2?

I'm puzzled by what you wrote. I also believe that I probably speak for everyone on the board.

They are apparently living in a fantasy world where certain Houston UHF stations are located on the wrong channel, or with the wrong network affiliation. In another thread someone pointed out they may be the same person who had vandalized a number of Wikipedia articles with similar gibberish.
