Will MundoFOX be available on Comcast on or before August 13th?

KUVM was on Comcast when the station carried Azteca America, but has been gone since KYAZ picked up the affiliation.

FOX has to be extremely annoyed that its new network wound up on a LPTV in a huge Hispanic market such as Houston.

Yes and no.  One reason you find so many spanish language networks on LPTV stations is that a lot of spanish speaking households do not subscribe to cable or satellite.  My hunch is that they'll reach most of the spanish speaking market in Houston with that station.

I'm surprised it didn't end up on a subchannel of KRIV. KUVM-CD is extremely weak, and I seriously doubt it will reach a lot of households on that station.

IIRC-- Fox has a phobia about digital subchannels.  None of their owned Fox network stations have digital subchannels.

They have Bounce on several of their stations, and have signed KIN for several more, plus MundoFox will be on a Fox subchannel in DC.  And they're adding AccuWeather, not sure if it will be a subchannel or online-only.

Troy Goodwin:
I was hoping FOX would put the new MundoFOX channel on the sub-channels over Most FOX/MyTV stations they currently own.
