You don't get into radio, it's born into you.

Very nice guy indeed.  He and I would stay up nights along the way and chat about just general radio things.  Wish him all the best as he gets to go back home.

Thanks; I was wondering why someone would make such a move...

Never met him, but I like his style. Good luck, Will.

I worked with Will at Premier Radio in Columbia, MO 10+ years ago.  He's a great guy, and, yes, he grew up about two hours from Kansas City.  So, he's getting closer to his friends and family.  Also, he's wanted to go back to school, and he'll now get a chance to go to the school he's always wanted to attend.

Will is both a good guy and good newsman.  He will be missed!

I've already made plans to get some good BBQ with him next time I'm in KC!  Good luck to you, Will!

Holy smokes! Thanks to each of you for the kind remarks. You're very generous.

I'm very excited to be heading home, but there's a number of people here that made it a difficult decision. KRLD has been very good to me, and it's a great shop filled with good folks. I'll miss it a ton.

Again, thanks for your generosity. It doesn't go unnoticed. Oh, and Matt - if your Sox could stop beating up on my Royals, that'd be great. *grins*

Will, to get thru 7 replies with nothing negative is quite an accomplishment (on this board)!!!

Congratulations on your new opportunity and we wish you the best.
