Allan works full-time for the US Postal Service (has for decades) and is essentially retired from radio. Sad. Allan is a fantastic talent (and person).  If there's an oldies/classic hits station in the Triad/Triangle he should be a part of it. He's owned stations. He knows the business. And, he knows the music and can Entertain. Few can anymore.

Allan is still involved with UNC-TV and does some rock n roll/doo wop cruises. There's a cruise upcoming Jan 2013. Details at the link.

He's also on Facebook.

When I was programming 102.9 (and 102.3 at the time), Allan's show on Saturday night was singularly the most popular thing on the station.  He had (has) the energy and enthusiasm that just pours out of the speakers.  You have to love a talent like him.

That, and he and Big John got me drunk at Hooters a few times.  You have to love that, too.
