Hi! How are You? Yes I remember in the past on the web at the end of the period of Web 1.0 and the beginning of Web 2.0, there were some services on the web that let People create Their own shows and it is just like right now with Podcast, maybe I am wrong here, but it was the precursor of Podcasts, the names of the services are slipping my mind now, but I know They existed. Most of the shows created, did not last long though, but at least the Sports Show Hosts and Sports Fan were trying Their best to create Their own shows and to have a chance to work at a Professional Sports Radio Channels or Networks or even TV. I do not know though if those services still exist or lets say that I think They were replaced by Podcasting Services. Take care!

Trib Total Media in Pittsburgh (Tribune-Review, sister newspapers) has a sports talk station online with live hosts 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and some other features such as high school football. See www.triblive.com

Slate does a podcast.  The Boston Globe does some sports talk a couple hours for three days a week.
