KFOG's Amy Miller Leaves Radio
« on: July 11, 2012, 04:47:58 PM »

KFOG's Amy Miller has left radio for...for...the road life of a musician.  Has radio become so uncertain that it's easier to go on the road with a band nobody's ever heard of, playing honky-tonks and 4-H Clubs, damp basement clubs, and cafes?

Here's the story:  http://www.mercurynews.com/music/ci_21053536/not-panicking-walnut-creeks-amy-miller-leaves-radio

"KFOG's Amy Miller"? You make it sound like she's still there, but she was an intern/part-timer (off-air) 4 or 5 years ago, as far as I can tell.  Interesting career path, tho'.

To be honest I have no idea who Amy Miller is.  A Google news alert caught the story and I thought it was worth sharing because here's someone who has ditched one unstable career path for an even less stable one.  I think that's noteworthy.
