I would like to see a predicted Longley Rice map coverage of the CPs, those FCC maps are so inaccurate.

Speaking of KIOO and now coming in strong in Fresno/Clovis,has anybody else noticed they have tweaked there playlist to include stuff not played on the Fox and Blaze ? Working on my patio in Kingsburg Saturday moring heard Honeymoon Suite 'Feel it again' and The Stones 'One hit to the body' to name a couple.

Mmmm this is going to be interesting.  I don't know the reason for this, but, I think elevation is a HUGE advantage.  Moving to the valley floor will coverage area, even with the raised ERP.  Like the 99.7 KIOO for example.  I know KJUG currently goes from Fresno to Bakersfield, I even heard it in Taft and Maricopa one day.   I wish 99.7 KIOO would move to the existing spot where KJUG is, but I know about 99.9 in Mariposa, so that won't work.  I couldn't care less about KCRZ for Fresno, like as if we need anymore hip hop!

The best site would be to just MOVE Down -- a very short distance from the top of Blue Ridge.   Keeping as much height -- but being able to increase the ERP  to about  2 KW.   Take note that the NEW site -- on the lower side of Blue Ridge -- is SHORT to 106.7 in Pasadena  -- and  requires the new KJUG  to LOWER  the normial max ERP.    So the new site is NOT able to give maximum coverage -- as would the top of Blue Ridge.

Looks like KAAX is "on the air" from a new studio in downtown Avenal with an antenna on top of the studio-office.

Looks like KJUG has those objections of short spacing to KAAX and the LA 106.7 pretty well covered with a minor amendment to the app filed yesterday.
