How Many True Modern ACs Remain?
« on: January 03, 2006, 12:20:41 AM »

KQKQ in Omaha could be considered to be a Modern AC although they're more of a Rock 40 with a lot of modern rock tracks thrown in.  For example they just played Audioslave "Doesn't Remind Me" into Fallout Boy "Dance Dance."

Mix 101.9/Chicago is the only pure Modern AC I am aware of but there must be more.  (of course Star 98.7 LA has changed in recent months from Modern AC to a more Variety position in that market).

I just pulled up the music log for Mix on line and they played Kylie Minogue can't get you outta my head. Is that considered Modern? I thought Modern had a rock edge to it.

Isn't there a new station in Tucson that's probably considered modern AC?
