Corolla better then BJ
« on: January 03, 2006, 05:51:24 PM »

After listening to both shows for two hours a piece I must say that Adam won me over.   HAving listened to BJ in the past regularly, it was dissapointing hearing his first show.  Same old schtick, new time.  Besides Steve there was not one thing new on the show that I heard.  Same sound effects, stupid fake segments of Double R not knowing there would be a new producer and that he would get "fired," same phone screener problems, etc.  And no one needs to hear him kikssing Stern's butt all morning, I am a big Stern fan but come on.  Corolla was fresh for morning radio in Seattle, and I think he will be big when it is all said and done.  Was going to buy Sirius, but after hearing Adam my morning commute is going to be terrestrial.

I hope he will.  Just my opinion after day one.  Pre-December I listened to Stern, then BJ at work, and to Loveline at night.  So I feel objective as I can be when it comes to comparing the two shows.

I have to agree. Adam comes off much more relaxed and natural on the air while BJ seemed to be forcing things. The morning show pace is far different than 10 to 3 so they will have to make some changes. Good for Adam, he's in his element on the air and I see him doing well for the west coast.

I will have to check Adam out (call letters?)...he was always cool on the man show.
I agree with the cluster on "the Pebble". I really looked forward to the debut...what a joke, day two wasnt much better. Then move to moronic "pricker" as his self impressed brotha, gansta BS and the constant up and down of the background volume...ENOUGH...I'm out bra gonna take 'notha hit gansta dood...

This lineup is for 12-16 year olds.....
