Gunsmoke narrator dies
« on: January 12, 2006, 05:30:12 AM »

Each week, George Walsh stood at a microphone at Columbia Square in Hollywood and spoke these words to the CBS Radio Network:
"Around Dodge City, and in the territory on West, there's just one way to handle the killers and the spoilers.  And that's with a U.S. marshall and the smell of Gunsmoke."

Walsh continued to work at Columbia Square doing news for KNX until his retirement 19 years ago.
