I predict that the 12+ numbers will mean nothing.

Perhaps not in billing but they certainly show which are the leading stations for 12+.  The Katz Media Group uses the 12+ in their national format averages.  All numbers have statistical value one way or the other.

Plus, the 12+ numbers are fun on these boards.

That's pretty much what it's all about. We need the 12+ numbers, so every one here can continue with the daily speculation of when The Point is going to flip, KLOL is going to flip, KIOL is going to give up, etc.

I think that KOVE is going to have a good book this period. I believe this is the first book for them under the new "Recuerdo" format. We shall see. Also figure that KODA takes the top spot from Magic 102. (Gotta love that Christmas music)

Yeah, I know.
I posted that mostly as a joke because it seems like every time the ratings come out, there is this discussion debating that actual value of the 12+ ratings.

If 12+ numbers do not mean anything, where are the numbers that do and where does one find those? Because it looks like my favorite station justs keeps getting worse every quarter.

Gotta love W&J, Wendy, OD and Fletch.

Apparently many others don't.

Those numbers are not available to us simpletons.

You are absolutely right, HairyMike. It's pretty disheartening to realize that we fought as hard as we did to get KLOL replaced, and this is the result of our labor. Lesson learned. I guess we'll just have to enjoy the station while we still can.

In January extraps, KOVE was #4 in the market in 25-54 and #3 in 18-34.
