> Country music legend Buck Owens died yesterday.
> Stupid question here......will ANY country station in
> Atlanta, or anywhere, tribute the superlative country music
> of this great man?
> Why is it so difficult for radio to embrace the past?
> This is a great question.. Its really sad to see radio totally forget
the true legends that made some of the formats. I really miss the way
some small market stations used to do this exact thing. Someone died,
like when Marty Robbins passed, The old WACX had several spotlight
songs. What a shame.. That was fun radio.
