Media Blitz talks about a management change at ESPN890, and the return of
Eddie A. to radio (on WTKK--who may be in the running for Sox radio rights).
This also means Bob Rodgers' Calling All Sports is cancelled.

-- “In February, (WTKK GM) Paula O’Connor called me and said that the station no longer wanted the show,” says Rodgers, who split advertising revenue with the station.

“She told me that with the arrival of Eddie Andelman, management didn’t want WTKK to turn into a sports station. I thought our show followed by Eddie would have made a nice sports block.”
--

Andelman is quoted as saying: "WEEI has too many people who are not trained and not educated." Yeah and they really do lousy in the ratings, too...not.

What if WTKK got Sox rights and went to all-sports (perhaps with the Sox as a
partner of sorts?) Could be:
--WTKK Sports Radio 96.9
--WBOS 92.9 FM Talk (Severin, Graham, OhReally, Ingraham, et al. Barnicle
stays at 96.9 and banters with Curse of the Shaughnessy)
