As I understand it, until the ratings go flat, Citadel will continue to operate 2FM country stations...They have no plans to change format on either KQFC or KIZN...Meanwhile, Clear Channel is throwing money and all kinds of promotion at KTMY "My Country 104.3"...KTMY has yet to have any local talent for this station besides a stray voice or two...There are a total of 7 Country formatted stations in the Boise listening area...There are some wasted signals in this market, airing the same music, day in and day out...Personally, I think the entire market needs an overview...There are serious voids now in this market with many, many talented people on the outside looking in...People I speak with beleive it's only a matter of time before all the stations revenue start to tail off from the repetitive and boring programming...KTVB.com website is generating more revenue than most AM stations here...Boise needs an FM Talker, a True Kick Ass Rock Station and a Jack-FM...Then maybe people might up their game...
