if it's the bath non-comm I'm thinking of......it's 105.9 WBCI--- the old WIGY top 40 station fron the 80s. 105.9's been a non-comm for somewhere around 10 years

It's an online religious station... Channel 6 did a story on it over the weekend. http://www.wcsh6.com/home/article.asp?id=34969

Hey all.Just to clear things up a bit.The station is owned a operated by me.  We're out of the Portland area and here's the website if you want more info: http://www.cleftintherock.net.Currently the bidding is at 133.50.  We've been on television stations from Maine to Kansas and down the coast to S. Carolina.Cheers!

Now that I've got a bit more time I'll answer some of the questions that were raised above - and sorry for the typo-o.  I was pretty rushed when I posted. We started as a specialty show on terrestrial radio in 1994 at what was then 91.9 WMSJ in Freeport.  In (I think it was) 1998 we did a frequency switch from 91.9 to 89.3 which afforded us a much better tower location and a pretty sizable wattage increase.  The format of the station was (and is) Contemporary Christian Hot A/C to CHR.  The show I produced and hosted was Rock with some Rap Core and aired on Saturday eves from 7 pm to 1 am.  It was very listener (teen) focused with lots of phone interaction and frequent studio visits from area teen groups.  You can feel free to refer to us as "religious" programming if you choose but I much prefer to be known as a station that plays artists who hold to a Judeo-Christian world-view, i.e.: Switchfoot, P.O.D., UnderOath, Haste the Day, Chevelle, & Flyleaf to name a few.  It may seem like splitting hairs to you but "religious" can mean anything from the guys who tried to catch the Hale-Bopp comet to "The Branch Davidians" and anything in between.  Sonically we pretty much sound like any other Alt. Rock station.  Lyrically we're very different. In 2004 we parted ways our host station of the previous 10+ years and started 24/7/365 on the web which is where we've been perched since.I hope that answers your questions!
