All Access AD? Any idea who this is?
« on: July 19, 2006, 07:31:19 PM »

Don't know if anyone saw this post on Sunday on AllAccess...Any idea what company this is? Didn't know any of the large groups in Seattle used Scott Studios for automation?

#14 Seattle looking for Managment/Mids
#14 Seattle is on the hunt-

Do you have previouse Ops/PD Experience? Can you entertain, inform and be real to a top 40/Rhythmic audience? Do you LOVE the SEAHAWKS? If you answered yes to these questions then we really need to speak with you. Market size/format are not important, what is important is this-

Just a crazy guess.  Could it be that the JRN Seattle is looking for someone to head and jock the start up of a new Top40/R satellite delivered format from it's Seattle studios, known to use Scott Studios?Huh  The Seahawks are simply a draw to a city that had it's NFL team in the last SUPER BOWL. I am not an insider...just a wild and crazy guess.

I saw that too, and I've been trying to figure it out. If it is JRN, it would seem odd that they would advertise the size of the market, because a syndicated format wouldn't have anything to do with market size.

IIRC - Jones uses AudioVAULT. And if it was a satellite-delivered format it wouldn't just be seeking someone for Market 14.

TheV and RS:  Good points, however,  maybe JRN does use Scott if your IIRC is not 'C' and why would the ad say 'Market size/format not important?'  An inticement just to work in the #14 market whether you're heard there or not??  We shall know soon, perhaps.

Interestingly - JRN just announced it hired KPLZ's ex-Assistant MD to be a programmer:

Could be any group/station just on a fishing expedition to see who's looking to jump ship...
