"WTSH.  The Tush.  We're always behind you."

WTSH will not be on par with El Patron.  WBZY city-grades almost all of Atlanta.  WTSH will city-grade virtually none of Atlanta.

WTSH will not be a factor in the Atlanta ratings.  It very well could show up but will not be a factor.

The WJZZ move is 18 months away.

This radio station will "serve" Atlanta, judging from the proposed contour I see, about as well as 96.7 serves Atlanta.

Hardly, at all.

Precisely.  There's not going be a big operator who'd waste time buying this signal.

Why did they change the city of license?  Aragon is actually further away from Atlanta than Rockmart.  Anyone know why?

It was probably because in order to show there was a need for a power increase, they had to tell the FCC that poor Aragon had no radio station.  Susquehanna did the same thing in order to move 100.5 from Anniston to Atlanta, telling the FCC that College Park needed a station.  It makes no sense, but it's the FCC.

It makes more sense than WCNN still being licensed to the city of North Atlanta, which was dissolved in the 1960s.  I remember when the GDOT scraped "North Atlanta" off of the exit signs for Ashford-Dunwoody Road.

I used to know a girl from Aragon.  I wonder where Kim is now.

Question: Could Cox buy WTSH and not consider it an ATL market station?  Or would there be too much overlap with their ATL signals?  How does the rule governing ownership limits work?  It looks like they could bring WTSH back as a sister station to WNGC--maybe even simulcast.

I sample both stations online, usually during the Moby morning show. The fact that both stations use the same imaging, meteorologist, etc., you'd think that both of them are sister stations right now!

I don't see South 107 moving the tower closer to the Atlanta market since you already have 107.1 out of Gordon (Macon) and 100,000 watts out of Columbus at 107.3. It suprises me that they got the FCC approval to go 100,000 watts. Even thought the tower is not that high, it should be a pretty strong signal coming out of NW Georgia. I wonder what Southern Broadcasting plans to do with the new signal 104.9 out of Plainville (Rome/Calhoun), GA?
