FOX 3rd OF JULY
« on: July 04, 2005, 08:47:25 AM »

Does anyone know who is responsible for the music that accompanied the fireworks on 92.5 the fox last night?  I saw it from Newport on the Levee, and thought the fireworks were fantastic.  Couldn't hear all the voices during the soundtrack, but for the most part it seemed like an appropriate patriotic theme, if you can stand Celine Dion.  I also think it is ironic that "Born in the USA" always seems to pop up in these shows, but that song is anything but patriotic.  In fact, with the way some vets are being treated today, and budget cuts, that song is very appropriate.

In years past I believe that Joel Moss produced the track, not sure about this year though.
