Jingles used in AC stations

I am a radio fan for a quite a long time, and since I am a jingle freak, I tend to keep up with the jingle packages, format changes, and so forth.

The Reelworld and the N2effect jingles REALLY fit well to the AC format because the singers heard in cuts were mostly female since the majority of the format is targeted to the female audience. They all sound great and is widely heard on several AC stations anywhere in the country.

However, two jingle packages I don't really like are the ones from TM Century and Thompson Creative, both out of Dallas. The Thompson Creative packages are the worst because it totally do not fit well within the format. In fact, a soft AC station down in New Orleans which uses the package is so loud it bothers my ears to listen to it. It sounded like they were used in a CHR station in the early 90's. Another package that was made several years ago(around 2000), but is no longer in use was the worst AC package I ever heard. It was used in a Columbus, OH AC station. The cuts were so loud that I did not like the station.

I'm very lucky in my area that I am living because none of the stations here uses the TC or the TMC packages.

Here are similar AC jingles that use the same thingy that says:

Toronto (CJEZ-FM): "97 Point 3, 97 Point 3, Toronto's EZ Rock"
Montreal (CFQR-FM): "92 Point 5, 92 Point 5, Q92"
Calgary (CHFM-FM): "Lite 96" (No Frequency That Says "95 Point 9")
Cornwall (CFLG-FM): "...(Not Sure)...Variety 104"

Both CFQR & CFLG are the same company...CFQR is just 60 miles east of CFLG's signal.

I wonder why Vancouver & Ottawa (whose ACs are owned by CHUM Limited) are missing the EZ Rock/Q92 jingle package?

I really don't know what you're talking about. Some of the Reel World jingles, like the WNIC packang, I think anyway are way too upbeat for the format. TM Century has done many different packages in many different styles, I suggest that you listen to more of them.
