One thing you must remember when doing a Hot AC station "right."
One must factor what the market is like, and even more importantly, what other stations are in that particular cluster.  If you have a soft AC station, you will probably lean more adult CHR.  If you have a CHR or rhythmic CHR, you will probably lean more on the AC side with a focus on music from the 80's and 90's.
