Looks like it's up to Bill Fox and Leif Erickson to save the sinking ship now.  you're gonna need some bigger buckets, gentlemen, the SS Frank is sinking fast.  It's kinda funny watching it from a Blimps-eye view!

as was mentioned previously, Bill is collecting packing boxes with his upcoming departure from mornings at 107.5 - that whole "not renewing a contract" thing.  makes one wonder now if they pulled the plug on "the greatest show from earth" far too soon.

i posted it once before and i'll do it again - rock & roll radio's little irony - "it's the Blimp, Frank! it's the Blimp!" (Captain Beefheart)

So Bill Fox is leaving?  You can't help but feel bad for the guy since they screwed with his show just about every book... more music, no, let's do a wacky morning zoo!  Let's fire Mark Persky!  oh wait, more music.  But all in all, it's for the best.

As for the motorcycle thing, do your homework.  WBLM is indeed giving away a Harley and a Strat.  A quick visit to the website will reveal this.

I'm sorry, you couldn't pay me to sit in an office and wait for a cue to call while being bombarded with Jim Croce songs and lame rock trivia questions.  If your music sucks, people won't listen.  The recent book proved that.

Nassau should just pull the plug now and save themselves the money and further embarassment.

Hey Guys!
Actually, yes I am leaving beautiful Portland, Maine. I am doing mornings on Fly 92.3 in Albany...not 95.5. I loved my time here at Frank, but I am from the Albany area and I couldn't resist knowing that I could have my mom's eggplant or sausage and peppers anytime. I start Sept 12th!

Peace out!
Chrissy

Chrissy,

We've never met but I've admired your work since you arrived at Frank FM. The very best of luck to you in what has to be your dream job - you get to go home, get a great gig and get paid for it. Good for you!

Take care!

LOL.  I guess your strategy is to just lie through life, just make it up to oversome sheer embarrassment.  WOW..you're so impressive.  Maybe next week the sales staff will force some lame value added promotion on the air to once again embarrass the station.

BTW, Chrissy "I love women's soccer" is off the 1075Frank website today.  Replaced by Stan "I love cake" Manning.  Good luck, gang!
