Wild's website says it's moving to 104.9. Not sure about HD radio. Wild's website implies 97.9 is not HD but doesn't state it at this point. As for the advantage to flipping, as the other poster mentioned, there's probably not much of an advantage at this point in time unless a station or two gets sold as a result of the ABC deal. However, I seem to recall that there's a proposal with the FCC to move 97.9 to 98.1 and relicense it to the Village. It involves changes to multiple stations in Oklahoma.
I was kind of hoping Citadel would leave Wild at 97.9 since there's a proposal to move it to 98.1 along with better coverage over OKC, I was looking forward to Wild 98.1 but now it looks like The Sports Animal is now going to take that coverage. Also, 104.9 can't be upgraded since there are quite a few other stations in Oklahoma on 104.9.
So when the ABC/Citadel merger goes through Wild 104.9 along with 105.3 is gonna be sold to a different owner. Speaking of 105.3 are they simulcasting with Wild or with WWLS?
