Don & Mike obit

This is probably found in more detail on the DC board, but Don Geronimo's wife Freda was killed in a car accident yesterday in Ocean City, MD.

Of course, Don is the co-host of "The Don & Mike Show", which in Iowa is carried on the station where I work (1630 KCJJ).  Freda was a big part of the show, and was on via telephone almost every other day.

They're doing a "Best Of Freda" show today, with Don obviously absent.  I'm surprised by the quick turnaround.  The other hosts are obviously very upset, with Mike O'Meara even saying, "As for the future of this show...that will not be discussed on today's program".  That kind of statement seems pretty cryptic to me, but that's not what's important today.

So if you're a religious person, please say a prayer for the Sorce (Geronimo's real last name) family.
